The Renewable Heat Incentive

The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a Government-lead incentive to financially reward property owners who use renewable energy to heat their buildings in England, Scotland and Wales. There are a number of systems which qualify for the RHI, which are explained in the slides opposite, and at Halsall we can help you choose the right one for you.

Once on the RHI scheme, customers receive a quarterly payment for every kilowatt hour (kWh) of renewable heat you produce, over the next seven years. It’s even possible for households to install more than one technology and receive payments for each system they use!
